A dated Sedona house was renovated, furnished and set up as a cohesive vacation rental. The project balanced a fresh desert-influenced look with durable materials, practical storage, comfortable sleeping spaces and outdoor areas that extend the guest experience.

The remodel focused on solving practical layout problems while making thoughtful use of the existing home and renovation budget.
Kitchen
We kept and painted the existing cabinets, added new countertops, extended the counter for more prep space and seating, created an island-style seating area, and stocked the kitchen for guest use.
Living and gathering space
We removed a nonfunctional glassless pass-through that took up counter space, shortened the wall between the kitchen and dining and sitting area, and used new paint, lighting and furnishings to open and brighten the space.
Primary suite and bathroom
We added a closet, enlarged and reconfigured the shower, added rainfall and traditional showerheads, installed a bathroom door, refreshed the brick vanity wall, updated fixtures and furnishings, and added direct access to a private patio.
